Weddings

We have had 3 family weddings earlier this year, and the 4th is on September 1st.  My lovely niece Molly will be married, and I made this card for her & her fiance.  I'm sorry to say I don't know the maker of the cake & sentiment stamp set I used...forgot to label!!  I used an Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge cut to frame the cake, the white satin ribbon is from my stash.  I loved the "Mr & Mrs" stamp ,but couldn't really find a die or punch to surround it, so I hand cut it out.  Kind of uneven...but I liked it!  The button is from my dear Dad...before he retired as a drycleaner he gave me almost his entire stash of buttons that were left behind in customer's clothing, or sets he purchased to mend/tailor them. I know he would be smiling at the thought that I am using them in my crafts.  He gave me thousands of them...I'm sure I shall never have to purchase a button ever..I have every color & shape you could imagine!!  Anyway...thanks for stopping by and checking this blog out!!

Challenges Entered:

BTW...I have been trying to post this card SEVERAL times today...might have missed some challenge deadlines...our internet has been in and out all weekend and I'm going to strangle the technician that comes to check on it if he doesn't fix it ASAP!!!

Wonderful card. I love the colours you've used - makes a change from the more traditional colours. The cake looks gorgeous and the sentiment is fab too!! Hugs, Marie xx
