Happy Father's Day
What? Father's Day already? What happened to Mother's Day? Well, I have been trying to get a box of cards in the mail to Operation Write Home. (You make blank greeting cards for the deployed to send home to their loved ones with their own special message inside). Most of the cards I made for them are general greeting cards because I'm just horrible with deadlines, but I decided to hurry up & make a couple Father's Day cards, and the deadline for them to reach the organization is April 30th!! I have been using sketches more & more lately, because it helps me think of different ways to use my paper, dies & stamps without creating the same look every time, although for the most part, they still remain clean & simple! Anyway....I made this one using a sketch I found on Pinterest from The Scalloped Edge. All the papers & buttons are from my stash. The tie images are from Clearly I Stamp, the sentiment from the Doodle Pantry. I like the way it turned out! Now I have to make about ten more just like it and quickly!! Absolutely love your project you have done, I love your card, as we don't see many being created for males. You have done a wonderful job with the colors absolutely love it. Awesome! The design is fabulous.
