Happy Birthday Emily
I made this card for my oldest daughter Emily's birthday. Her birthday isn't until March 1st, but I figured with Easter coming up right behind it, I didn't want to waste time preparing it!! I used the digital image "Cupcake Lineup" from "From the Heart Stamps" and colored them up with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles Large & Scalloped Rectangles Large to frame it, a Stampin Up sentiment, and green ribbon from my stash! Emily loves to make cupcakes for her six children and other extended family celebrations such as baby/wedding showers, etc! She loves chocolate and the color green, not real sure about the pink, but I think she'll like her card!! Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

Happy Anniversary & Valentine's Day
My husband and I were married on Valentine's Day in 1976! So this is our 37th year being married! Kind of hokie...but I don't even think we were trying to be cute getting married on that day. If I remember right, we just took a look at the calendar and said....hey that day's as good as any! At the time I think we were working around other upcoming weddings on both sides of our family and were trying not to make them too closed to each other. In retrospect it was a horrible day for future anniversary celebrationsm because everybody and their brother is taking their wife/girlfriend out on that night! Oh well! This year we celebrated by going out to dinner & a movie this past Sunday! I still wanted to make this card for him and give it to him on our actual anniversay. This cute image is called Ava & Deacon Love Word from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. They have some of the cutest and humorous images! I colored them with a combination of Prisma Pencils & Spectrum Noir markers. The Feb 14 stamp is from My Creative Time 100% Sweetness set. The die cut they are framed on is Spellbinder's Romantic Rectangles. The flower & button are from my stash. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

So Many Valentines...So Little Time
Well, each year I try to make Valentine cards for my grandchildren & put a little gift coupon for a free Frisch's meal inside. Happy Valentine Day Russ
I made this card for my grandson William Russell...we all call him Russ. He is a wonderful little boy who can look as cute and innocent as this Sassy Cheryl image. I believe his name is Noah, and the image is "A Mother's Heart". He can also become quite rambunctious right after he gives you a big grin with a twinkle in his eye! Anyway...I colored him with Prisma pencils, Promarkers, & Spectrum Noir markers. The Spectrum Noir markers a very juicy, and I do not have the knack on how to use them yet, thus the heart bled into his nice green shirt. I figure being just a small boy, he won't notice! The die cut behind him is Spellbinder's Lacy Squares, not sure where the sentiment is from, but it was cut out with two Paper Studio Punches. I used Kraft Paper for the first time and I think it looks good with the red. The material I used to make the bow? Well...all I can say is I found it in my stash, and it happened to match the red paper perfectly! Even though it is a card for a little boy, I don't think it's too fru-fru! What do you think?

Lucy Lou's Valentine
Happy Saturday!! I have been sick with a nasty case of Sinusitis, so I have been trying to make the best of it by getting some crafting done. I made this Valentine Day card for my granddaughter Makayla using a Sassy Cheryl image called Lucy Lou's Valentine. Makayla has the same whispy blonde hair & freckles. I colored her with a combination of Prisma Pencils & Promarkers using my three favorite colors..pink,blue & yellow. The solid pink paper is from Colorbok & the print paper from DCWV Glitter Mat Stack...one of my favorite stacks! She is framed on Spellbinders Classic Oval Large, then Floral Ovals. The blue ribbon is from my stash, the sentiment is from My Creative Time's 100% Sweetness set. I stamped it with Versamark & embossed it with very light pink powder. I think she'll like it! Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!
